Kitty Grrlz and *GIVEAWAY*










One of the more amazing samples in January's box was the large handspun keychains from Kitty Grrlz! I instantly fell in love with the pale gray bamboo mini skein! It had just hints of pale pink throughout and made my heart flutter!

Kitty Grrlz not only has an amazing array of handspuns in the shop, but a second shop (Kitty Grrlz knits) full of gorgeous hand knits!
I am currently fawning over the citrus single-ply bamboo handspun she has listed now, but go look at her dazzling art yarns!

Kitty Grrlz is another one of those shops you should just allocate a portion of your paycheck to- she updates weekly!

    I really loved Marmalade Pine - HandDyed HandSpun Single Ply Bamboo Yarn, I am a hand spinner and dyer. I find the colors very pleasing and I know Bamboos will be just right.

    I honestly can't pick one. I love them all and want them all. I want to make a bed out of them for myself and sqoosh them!

    I usually don't like multicoloured two plies for handspun, but the Navajo is GORGEOUS.

    How on earth are we supposed to pick only one?! I loved all of the Bamboo ones on the first page, but I nearly died over "Manly, yes". It reminds me of a chilly morning just at dawn, watching the fog over the coast line, with a warm cup of perfect coffee in hand, cuddled up in deliciously soft jammies...yes, I got all of that from one picture on the internet!

    gosh, how do you pick a favorite color? I love them all!

    I suppose if I had to pick one it would be Andromeda II, those colors go so well with each other and look like they would be very soothing to knit with!

    Wow, I love everything! It was a hard choice, but the Batt-tacular - Olive Mint - HandSpun Bulky Yarn 86 yards 3.1 oz really stood out because I'm ga ga over green.

    Can I just say that the Kitty Minis in Plum Honey is AMAZINGLY gorgeous?!? Those colors are striking yet subtle so I won't scare off my coworkers wearing something knit from that.

    i really love the Andromeda two and the tainted love. i like the Andromeda two because the colours r refreshing with the green shades and bold with the brown tones. also it reminds me of the tv show with Kevin sorbo because of the name.

    I want to live in the shop! i've never knit with bamboo & would love to try Beautiful Bamboo single ply Summer Shades Light and Stormy Night-can't make up my mind-love em both. Also saw Kitty Singles-FANG-made me think of my daughter's fav place in Ireland & our girl's night watching True Blood lol-guess that makes it a gotta have. I've already bookmarked it and it's going on Facebook!

    Oh my, one of my favorite Etsy shops to go and drool! I have had this shop at the top on my list of Etsy places to buy from for a while, as I really really like her 3 ply Navajo.

    Some of the favs? Plum Honey, Endless Nameless, Andromeda II, Blue Copper Night. I do like the single ply Manly, Yes. Just lovely!
