Bunky Bobos and *Giveaway*

Bunky Bobos is a charter member of Phat Fiber- we saw her amazing yarn debut in January's box. March's box had some really deliciously dyed worsted weight yarn samples as well as her famously wonderful lip balm! Did you know Sandy includes a lip balm with every yarn order? How much more an you sweeten the deal?
Sandy has been a busy busy bee- I just popped in to her shop and it is chock full of yarn- each one I would be beyond thrilled to own. The woman has mad dyeing skills- which is why I commissioned her to create a colorway for the phat shop called "Miranda". She used a special heathered base yarn and it came out stunning!
Sandy sent me an amazing package to give away to you, a lucky commenter here. 2 full skeins of her "Phat" colorway (squee!) in worsted weight, a famous bunky girl lip balm, and a hand crafted soap from the blue ridge mountains in bergamot mint (yummy!). All you have to do, is visit Bunky Bobos and find something you like, write about it here below and that counts as your entry- post again if you tweeted or blogged about this contest so I'll count you twice. Remember, I"ll need to find you somehow in case you win so make it easy on me and leave your Rav or twitter id along with your post. Drawing will be held on Tuesday!
Thank you so much Sandy, for creating these gorgeous yarns for us to covet!

  1. Love the Elderberry and the St. Crispin's Day sock yarns . . . gorgeous colors she dyes!

  2. I can't decide between Henry V and Nyx -- they're both beautiful!

  3. Heck, I love everything! I love how there are yarns at both ends of the spectrum. There are yarns which are beautiful, subtle colors like Miami Vice or Nyx. And then there are yarns which are practically neon (not for a knitting wallflower), like Lemon/Lime Snowcone and Summer Lovin'. And I love them all!

I got some lip balm in my box. It was blueberry scented which I unfortunately don't like (blueberries) but the texture of the lip balm was AWESOME. I gave it to my fiance who loves it. The ingredients in her lip balm are a GREAT blend

  37. I have a sneaking suspicion that people are buying some of the colourways listed above but I think that is the point of this and AWESOME (even if it means I sadly cannot see elderberry which I am certain I would have loved). That being said, I am drawn to the long neck yarn ( http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=22452606 )
Maybe it's because it's named after my favourite dinosaur.. maybe it's because I've recently become obsessed with yellow. WHO knows. But it looks awesome. Anyways, that's all I got. thanks for the contest!

I love the Punk Rock sock yarn so much that I seriously got up and ran to see if I could make a pair of socks I've been wanting to make with one skein...Alas, they're knee-highs, so I'd need 2...I know that I could get 2, but I'm pretty sure my hubby would kill me if I spent that much on a pair of socks...lol! Now, I'm off to find a pattern that I CAN use only one skein...
