The Fox Hop and *Giveaway*

So, when I opened the box of samples from The Fox Hop for March (She sent in gorgeous batts for February's box as well) I was so pleasantly surprised to find a little mini batt gift for me! I was so excited, I spun it up right away. It was like the stars aligned... the kids were asleep, all that could be heard was the soft creaking and whirring of my wheel and I began to think about how lucky we all are. We're so lucky that we get to enjoy this craft as an artistic outlet and it's not something we have to do in order to clothe ourselves. We can take a gorgeous bit of already prepared fiber and just let the treadle, the wheel and our fingers do the work. This Fox Hop batt practically spun itself it was so incredibly soft and beautiful.

Speaking of being lucky, The Fox Hop has sent in two "Lucky Bucks" Worth $20 each!! I'm giving one away here! The other will be dropped into a box to be randomly gifted to a March phat fiber box recipient!

All you have to do to be eligible for one of the "Lucky Bucks" is visit The Fox Hop and find something you like! Write a comment below here telling us what you would buy with your "Lucky Bucks!" Remember to leave a way for me to find you if you win! The massive drawing will be held on Friday so you have plenty of time to visit The Fox Hop and search the entire store! If you tweet, plurk or post about this contest i'll count you twice! Help me get the word out about this fantastic shop!

The Fox Hop is having a different sale each week for the entire month and will also be giving away 3 more gift certificates! All you have to do is convo her and let me know which lucky listing has the word "shamrock" in it! Winners will be drawn at the end of the month from all entries containing the right answer. ADDITIONALLY, if you're lucky enough to be getting a Fox Hop coupon in your box (or elsewhere) they will be combined with the current shop sale! Could there be any more incentive to shop the Fox?

  1. I want it all!! I think if I have to choose, I'd probably pick the "Under the Sea" yarn, because I can see tons of fun things I could do with it. But those batts are so pretty and I AM learning to spin, so....

    ReplyDelete
  2. I like the batts in 'purple rain' since I'm learning to spin I think they'd be a good investment. =D

Also the handspun 'mardi gras' yarn is really interesting and funky.

  3. Lovely. I would choose some of the really bright colored batts or the roving that is red and orange. I would also want to get a surprise batt. Surprises are too much fun!

  4. wow! mardi gras, land and sky, blueberry sky and batts! such beautiful looking fibers!

  5. How cruel to make us choose! The Fox Hop is definitely on my favorite list. If right this minute I had to choose, I'd go with Brick House or Banana Bread. Both colors just beg to come to my home and be spun on my wheel. I promise to treat them oh so very kindly.
