Desired Haven Farm Giveaway!

Misty of Desired Haven Farm, has sent in this ginormous roving for a giveaway!
I got to thinking about all of her past samples and how generous they have been.
I think the drop spindle she uses in her photos is a much larger spindle than we are all used to seeing! The drop spindle in the photos seem to dwarf the generous skeins of handspun and huge amounts of roving. I took a picture of her 4oz giveaway with my coffee mug for comparison.
See? Isn't it huge?!
The giveaway roving is called "Maddy Potpourri" and I just love all of the colors in between the natural stormy colors of the wool.
Please visit Desired Haven Farm's shop, find something you like, and post about it in the comments section below. We're drawing for a winner tomorrow! Remember to use Facebook, twitter, plurk etc to get the word out about Misty's shop. I'll count them as extra entries if you let me know you've done it!
Thank you so much, Misty for sharing your art with us! We appreciate you!

  42. Pebbles in the Stream looks scrumptious! Misty is such a sweet woman and I've coveted her samples that I've seen in other boxes. I haven't been lucky enough to get one myself. I do however have fleeces from two of her sheep and they are wonderful. I love that she does everything from sheep to finished yarn. It really adds a personal touch and makes her shop special.
