Tactile Sock Yarn Giveaway!





Tactile Fiber Arts
has again, sent in the most amazing samples for the July box! Bundles of naturally dyed tussah silk and gorgeously saturated cotton yarn are jewels in this month's box!

Tactile is celebrating the summer of the sock! The array of sock yarn Tactile has on their site is amazing! I am especially in love with merino/tencel blends lately! They are just so shiny and scrummy!

We're giving away a full skein of Tactile superwash merino, bamboo and nylon sock yarn! It's 434 yards of squooshy strawberry deliciousness!   1. Very pretty! I love the creme brule color! I also love that she uses natural dyes. I've never tried tussah silk, but I hear its pretty nice! (I swear I have the most redneck accent in my mind when I type!)

  11. It is really amazing what Tactile can do with natural dyes. My pic is the Merino Top in the Heliotrope colorway. I am hoping to see them at Lambtown in Dixon this year!

  12. I really like the Sincere Sheep Fiber in Calendula. It is pretty neat that all of her things are naturally dyed and the Sincere Sheep Fiber (and yarn) is from local sheep.

  23. Really?!? Did I need to go to Tactile's website? Since joining the Phat Fiber folks my wallet has been screaming in agony! I love, love, love the camel/silk fiber. It will have to wait until next month though. The budget have been totally blown out.

  55. So much to love from Tactile - like the organic cotton (I got some in my box, and it's fab!) and the samplers. I'm very tempted by the camelids sampler... I also love the carbonized bamboo and the "Kelp" colorway of merino/silk worsted yarn... As I said, so much to love!

  86. I really like the fiber samplers. You get 1 oz of several different fibers to try out; in total, you still get 3-5 oz. of fiber (enough to make a fun yarn), AND you get to play with new/interesting stuff! My favorite is the ancient breeds sampler. I like the idea of spinning fiber from ancient breeds of sheep. You get 1 oz. each of Finn, Gotland, Icelandic, Norwegian, and Shetland. In keeping with this month's theme, i also like the Camelid sampler ;).
