Fiber Gift Tags and Giveaway

I am late in posting this giveaway! But, I think the timing is good, and I'll tell you why. I have been spinning up a storm lately and I haven't been spinning with specific projects in mind. I have a lot of gift knitting to do, and I think this year I will make projects and stockpile them and sort out who they should be gifted to later. What do you think? Is that how you do your gift knitting?

Well, I am certainly going to need to get some gift tags for this task! Enter Fiber Gift Tags! They have professionally printed gift tags for all occasions and American and Canadian/British spellings available on all of them.

The best part is, if you need something customized for you, they will do it at no additional cost!

We're excited to be giving away a hand-turned wpi gauge made from exotic Padouk wood. Just visit Fiber Gift Tags, post about something you like, and we'll draw for a winner this weekend.
Remember I always count those social networking pings as extra entries so help get the word out about Fiber Gift Tags!

  2. Ooh! Rainbow Socks Knit Gift Tags!!! Yes! I totally aspire to sock every member of my family, now that I found a sock pattern I don't hate. And I LOVE that you can choose fiber/fibre. I'd have to get some of each for my American family & British in-laws! RTed @millarca!

  7. I love these tags. I have the crocheted, felted, and quilted ones. I give away the quilting ones at my quilt guild as participation prizes, and they are a big hit! And they have a pretty pansy!

  9. I like the gift tags because I've been spinning up a storm too - spinning much faster than I can knit. When I finish a hank of yarn, I write the pertinent info on the tag - yardage, weight, wpi, fiber content and color, even where I purchased the fiber. Then I attach the tag to the yarn and it's ready for me to knit - I know what I have and how much so that I can pick the right yarn for the project or project for the yarn.

  15. I like that multipacks are available so that I don't have to pick a favorite - nice to allow for baby gifts (pink and blue), plus cute and sophisticated, all in one fell swoop. Luv it. KT

  18. I especially like the sock gift tags. The tags will make a great gift for my SIL who knits socks exclusively.

  19. I love the simplicity of the design, and that they cover every fiber craft that I avidly participate in! (There is no felting, but this is understandable, plus the fiber content would be pretty obvious.)

Oh, and that there are several images to choose from, too. :)

  23. I like the sock gift tags. I think the tags cover all the categories when I handwrite tags that I give to people.

I know you're not looking for a critique, but I found the site a little hard to navigate. The traveling menu bar was distracting and I expected to just click on the menu bar without having to click through submenus. But that's just my opinion--others may prefer it this way.

  24. I think it is neat how their tags are specific for the the item, instead of just "handmaid by".

  25. Gift tags! What a great idea! I love the ones with the little blue striped socks. Now I just need to learn how to knit socks and they will be perfect.

  26. I am so happy you showed us the gift tags. How great they are, too! I love the sock ones, but I want some for everything I do. I am tired of useing my business cards. There just isn't enough room on back for everything. I have a bad habit of knitting up something, and then I don't like it or want it. I keep a "give-away" box that I go to when I need a gift. I am a little low right now, but I have friends who raid the box when they visit.

  28. I LOVE the options available, and I SO need spinning tags. Right now I have notes scattered all over about what fibers are in the stuff I've spun, and I really ought to have that on tags on the skeins...
