Into the Whirled Batt Giveaway!

Wow! What can I say about Into the Whirled's gorgeous goodies that isn't already expressed in the equally gorgeous photography displayed in shop!

Christine's batts are something everyone needs to experience. They are, in a word, perfect. Each batt is completely smooth, the color changes are bold and yet effortless at the same time. I am deeply in love with these batts! I had the wonderful opportunity to spin a "Minotaur" batt last month and I was almost as thrilled with puzzling out how to spin the colors, with the fluffiness and squeezability of the batt!

We're giving away a wonderful 4.5 oz Minotaur batt to a lucky commenter! Just visit Into the Whirled, find something you like, and write about it below. We'll be drawing on Friday so sit back, relax and enjoy clicking through each of Christine's beautiful listings!
For those of you who tweet, plurk, facebook and blog, we'll give you an extra entry for telling folks about Christine's beautiful shop- just let us know you did it :)

Thank you so much, Christine for sharing your beauty with us!

  6. I was an ITW lurker for quite a while. I would stop by her Etsy shop and admire and covet and one day, I realized that I should be more than lurker, I could actually get some of the gorgeous fiber to be my very own. I bought Laduree in Falkland wool. What a joy to spin! I wasn't quite sure at first what about that color lured me in but one night while plying, I realized that it is the color of my favorite Happy Ending sundae at Friendly's - one scoop black raspberry, one scoop pistachio covered in sumptuous hot fudge. Just so yummy!

  21. I am absolutely in love with all of her work. I have told her to brace herself for this weekend when I go to Rhinebeck and come with a full wallet, and she is first on my list :) My favorite so far is actually the batt she uses in the picture for her avatar, though it isn't on sale currently in her shop. If I had to choose one in her shop, it would be the Dinoflagellates roving. I just love the contrast of colors, and the way they harmonize so peacefully. Also mentioned Into the Whirled in my facebook status just now, as well as my Twitter. SmooMcGoo (Twitter and Ravelry) and Sarah Dawley (fb). Yay for giveaways!!*crosses fingers*

Funnily enough, the one that caught my eye immediately was the Minotour, which I might be purchasing anyway in a moment...can't ever have to much fiber, right?
