Smoky Mountain Fibers Saturn Giveaway!



I hope everyone knows by now that our theme for December's box is "Aurora Borealis and Beyond". I want everyone to also know that our AnneMarie from SmokyMountainFibers has been ahead of the game for a while! She has a lot of celestial inspired fibers in her shop.

One of the prettiest planetary inspired rovings is her "Saturn" colorway, and that is what she's sent in for us to sample in December. It's bright and warm and would be the perfect spin-by-the-fire you need during the dark winter nights ahead!

We're giving away 3 oz of this beautifully saturated hand dyed roving today! Just visit Smoky Mountain Fibers (why not pick a few things up while you're there!) find something you like, and write about it in the comments section below. We'll be drawing for a name on Saturday, so be sure and twitter/facebook/blog about this giveaway to get extra entries.

    I think my faves would be any of the paintbox sets, I love the mix and match aspect of spinning the colors together :)

    Oooh, this is pretty. It is definitely one of my favorite things in the shop, but so many other things are gorgeous, too! The one calling to me right now is the Carnivale mohair locks, but it's a hard choice.

    LOVE the colors in your "Saturn" roving -- looks like a sunset.

    I also love Tie Dye Hand Dyed Merino Wool Roving. The colors remind me of the flowers on hankies my Grandma always carried.

    I really like the Felter's Paintbox items, especially the one with shades of green. The hand dyed merino wool roving called Marigold is also exceptionally beautiful.

    I love the undyed wools.. they are getting hard to find these days.. the Moss Green Romney locks are beautiful. My dd's vote is for the Tie Dyed Merino, Venus, and Lilacs... she likes purple! LOL

    I love the saturated colors of the fiber. Since everything is sold out except patterns, the blues and greens in the "sold" page really catch my eye.

    what a lovely colourway Saturn is! I see the store is sold out of most everythign at the moment, but browsing through some of the past sales sure is enticing! I love this colourway, the blues & the Autumn golds the most I think, but it sure is hard to narrow it down, lol!
