Light Brown Hare- Giveaway!

While I was browsing through a few hundred shawl patterns on Ravelry- I happened upon a new one by Dale of Light Brown Hare. It's called Supernova and although the yarn specified is no longer available, the pattern was written specifically for 1 6oz skein of her Jackrabbit fingering weight yarn. How easy can it get?! Just purchase a skein, download a pattern and you're on your way to a beautiful shawl/throw/tablecloth!

I have a skein of her Jackrabbit yarn in Nebula#5- and it's been whispering to me to make something out it!

So, it's a sad thing, but some of you have yet to try any Light Brown Hare yarn! Here is your chance! We're giving away this beautiful Nebula sock yarn (Shearlock not included) this week. Just Visit Light Brown Hare, find something you like, and write about it in the comments section below. Make sure you let everyone else know about it too! We'll count those tweeting/facebook udates as extra entries- let us know you did it!

Dale, I'm sure to cast on with my lovely Nebula yarn soon, and you can expect to see more of me lurking around your shop soon :)

The "milky way" really wears its name well. Funny that -20C brings around my part of the country such beautifull starry skies...just like that color...seriously!

  18. Ice Rink is a really beautiful subtle looking yarn -- I've just starting learning to knit and I already have two socks on the go. Well, one pathetic little toe-shaped item that is going into the historical collection as soon as I can bear to pull out the needles. But the cuff-down ribbing is looking promising. Soon, soon, I will need more sock yarn!! Thanks for alerting me to Dale's Etsy shop!
