Kathleen's Spin Sparklie Giveaway!




Would you like to know Kathleen's Spin on things? Visit her shop on Etsy! Coming from a person who is partial to the sparkle, Kathleen's Spin is a great place to get little bits of sparklies for all kinds of projects!

That's what we're giving away today! An angelina sampler pack! 10 different colors totalling 20z of shine! I wonder if anyone has spun a 100% angelina yarn? It would be sparkly, but probably not very soft. At any rate, you could definitely amp up the glitz by visiting Kathleen's Spin.

    I adore angelina -- so all the angelina colors are awesome. My favorite color is the emerald green!

    Her handspun is pretty. I like the Entish Green the best, but the Chocolate with Sprinkles is second choice.

    The Entish green is fantastic and might need to come and live at my house! Starry nights batt is so beautiful and if I knew how to spin I would have ordered it even before stopping to write this. Beautiful work, Kathleen!

    Right off the batt (LOL) I fell in love with Starry Nights, the batts. That color is amazing. Lots of very cool knitting "accessories".

    Oh, I am totally intrigued with Bronze Angelina metallic polyester fiber - 1/2 oz. I've spun batts with angelina, but I've never included it in my own batts. I feel an order coming on! I just love this bronze color.

    I love the Starry Nights batts. I haven't tried carding yet (still waiting on a driveband for my carder) but I really, really want to try mixing in some angelina for the sparkle! At least my husband won't complain about this type of sparkle (compared to, oh I don't know, diamonds, lol).

    I love the Desert Dawn. I wasn't going to enter since I'm not a spinner and I have no idea what I would do with this but then I realized I have a spinning friend and I could RAK it to her. Wouldn't that make her day!

    Of course this is the one I'll win rather than all of the yarn ones I've entered :-)

    i love the bronze color! i'm not super into spinning with sparkles (too messy!), but it would look beautiful spun with fiber of a similar color.

    Love the Angelina Fiber Sampler Pack! I didn't used to feel a need for the sparkle, but now I find them very intriguing. I'd love to play with adding them to my spinning!

    The Chocolate Sprinkles handspun is my favorite; looks like Cocoa Krispies with the marshmallows from Lucky Charms. :-)
