Avalon Springs Farm Locks Giveaway!


Inside this egg container are a dozen richly dyed and super soft mixed fiber locks from Avalon Springs Farm.

Avalon Springs Farm is fairly new to Phat Fiber and what a welcome addition! We just love to get our mitts on farm fresh fiber- and when the shepherdess is also a talented dyer, like Karen is- it makes it doubly exciting! I am really really tempted to snatch up that Lady of the Lake roving right now! I've promised myself I've got to spin through some of my fiber before I get more- it's becoming a storage problem since I've had all this 'heal' time lately. I'm sure one of you can get it though, and I can live vicariously through you! Karen's fiber has an incredible healthy lustre and she stocks her shop with all my favorite deep jewel tones!

    I can't choose between the Lancelot roving and the Telerie roving. They are both absolutely stunning at a time when I crave intense color!

    Lady of the Lake is beautiful, and so is Lancelot. That deep color is nice. They have one on sale called Excalibur, and it reminds me of all my marigold dyed fiber that I need to put together some way.

    I have never spun with locks but I may have to now after seeing these beautifully dyed ones! I also like the pink exotic fiber, it is my favorite color.

    I actually really like the natural taupe roving, boring as that might be.

    i love the lady of the lake roving! and i know this from experience! i bought 2 oz a couple months ago. avalon is super nice to order from. she accidentally sent me only 1 oz. and sent the second right away. i would love to try her other stuff.

    I have been looking for locks for my spinning. This shop has an excellent color selection. I am in love with the Gone Fishing and Fall Magic yarns. Everything in this shop is yummy!!

    Well, it's always hard to pick what I like best because I love everything I see. I especially was drawn to the Exotic Fiber Roving, Telerie. It just seemed to glow in the picture.
