Try to Dye with Blue Mtn Handcrafts- Giveaway!


Beth from Blue Mountain Handcrafts is now a Greener Shades Dye dealer! Does this woman ever sleep? I don't think so! She's makes the amazing caddy sax, those random beauties are incredible, the tools, and now the dyes!

You know you've wanted to try dyeing your own wool! Well try the responsible way, using dyes that are heavy metal free and safe for the environment when they go down your drains! Beth has created a package containing undyed wool, smidges of 9 different colors, citric acid and ph strips. Whomever wins this giveaway should show us all the amazing outcome!

  15. Oh, I've been wanting to dye my own wool for a while now! It's really hard to choose a favorite, everything she has is gorgeous. I think I'll go with the GLITZ Smooth Spinning Batt though.

    Greener Shades dyes - in a starter kit or any other way - is one thing on a long list of Blue Mtn Handcrafts temptations. The colors of the Secret Glade spinning batts catch my eye, along with Midnight 'n Moonlight. Oh, and if you haven't seen it, go take a look at the Vintage Flowers and Moss "Caddy Sax" bag!

    And, have just re-discovered my enjoyment in dyeing! How fortuitous! I do have one of her Batts..which I love and really don't want to spin up as its so pretty the way it is.
    I am enamored of the hackle set(s) and am trying...yeah, right, I DID say 'trying'...to save my pennies to get those.

  68. I have been wanting to learn to dye, but I've been concerned about the chemicals. I'm so glad I checked her shop out, but then I'm not. LOL So many goodies! I love the Ginger Caddy Sax. I hope it is still there when pay day comes around. I'm knew to this Phat Fiber thing and I can already see how much trouble I'm going to get into!
