Fleecemaker Fibers Batt Giveaway



Several of you will be getting your boxes today (I hope!) and inside a few are these very beautiful brushed mohair fiber samples from Fleecemakers Fibers. I said in the video this month, they're really akin to human hair and feel very glossy and smooth. It would certainly be an interesting spin!

  4. I like the Cotswold Romney Roving. I'm just learning to spin with a supported spindle. I'd like to try the "poor man's mohair". :-)

    I love the Yorkshire Moors farm batt, and also the Periwinkle hand pulled roving. The Three Way Natural Color Romney Swirl is another item that catches my attention.

  9. Another great find! These are batts are to die for/These two beautiful soft and squishy batts are a carded blend of an assortment of fibers. I've layered Merino, Alpaca, Bamboo, Tencel, Romney, Mohair, mill ends and Angelina together. Each batt is carded together only once so you can create your yarn as varied as you wish. Colors include shades of brown, chestnut, gold and white.

    I love fleecemaker's offerings! Had a couple of there Mud Pie Romney batts and they were a dream to spin. Would love to pick up some of their cotswald/romney roving and white alpaca/romney. Yummy! :-)
