Running time 9:30

Giveaway shop today: Bitsy Knits! Please visit, find something you'd love to write about and come back here and tell us all in the comments section. Retweeting, facebooking, plurking, ravelating will all count as extra entires!

I talk about SALs (spin a longs) and show and tell about the three that showed up at my house this past week: Hampton Artistic Yarns Cirque du Solei SAL, Silver Sun Alpacas Ice cream SAL, Bohoknitterchic's Golden Age SAL

Watch me split a batt and decide how to spin it. Meanwhile, Chopper guards the fiber.

I start to melt and have to go inside.

  1. 'Super Chunk Alpaca Boucle'?

Doesn't that sound as fattening (and delicious!) as mint chocolate chocolate chip ice cream?

Looking at her shop, found it interesting that she has rovings of nylon! I've never spun something like that, outside of a 'combo' sock roving/batt. Might be interesting to do on its own...or is it meant to be mixed with wool? Oh well, either way!
