One of my favorite phatties is having a wonderful summer clearance sale! Wild Hare is clearing the way for new fall items and Melissa needs our help! Buy any 2 items in her clearance section and get one free- such a deal! As I am writing this, Melissa has 36 items in that section, so lots to choose from.
One of the things I appreciate about Melissa is her willingness to support local farms and fiber. It is becoming more important to bring more of that 'localvoire' attitude to all aspects of our lives, including our art.
We're giving away this beautiful "Leafy Greens" BFL top today! Please take a moment out of your day and visit Wild Hare Fiber Studio, find something you love and write about it in the comments section below. We'll be drawing for a winner soon, so be sure and twitter, fb, blog etc and help Melissa out!

ReplyDeleteThe Seaweed BFL/Seacell is stunning, but I'm terrible at spinning a balanced yarn from silky add-ins to regular fibre, and it would be wasted on me.

Oh man ... oh man oh man oh man ... I once told Melissa that she was my fiber hero. And boy, that is still true! I am always blown away by her shop. I had such a hard time picking a favorite! Those BFL and seacel (sp?) are so magnificent. And the mulberry silk? Stunning! But I think my true favorite this time around is the Maizie art yarn. Such intricate color and texture! It shouldn't be knit up, it should be left as an art piece all by itself!
