Light Brown Hare Fiber Giveaway!


Yay! One of my favorite yarnies is now dyeing fiber! This makes a lot of sense to me, even though she's not a spinner- Yet! ;)

I gifted some Light Brown Hare yarn in a swap recently and my partner was completely thrilled with it! I mean, who wouldn't be? There is just about every color you could want and Dale's bases are wonderful. I have this skein of arctic hare that I am hoarding- it's a beautiful green/gray mmm. As you'll remember, I used Light Brown Hare's Jackelope base for my Witch of Pungo Shawl. In summary, I love Light Brown Hare and I can't wait to start using her fiber too ;)

    Ha, I know her shop well enough to post my favorites without looking! XD Lichen, Gleaning and Morning Fog. I love her Three Hares base, that 8-ply is just to DYE for, har har har! Also, her stitch markers are the best. I recently got myself some little gold ones with pink pearls. So sweet and wonderfully made!

    I also noticed a skein of Jackrabbit called Little Black Dress. I love black with a hint of other colors!

    The fiber being given away is very pretty, but in the shop it was so hard to choose a favorite! I did like the Purple Moon 1 Arctic Hare, I think its the silver that won me over

    Autumn Garden is simply gorgeous! I would snatch it up right away if I had extra fiber money I'd snatch it up right away(although it really saves us money we learned yesterday...so maybe, hehe).

    One of my greatest skills is indecisiveness. I can spend an hour deciding which sock to put on first. That's why this shop is perfect for me. First I have to narrow it down to one colorway, then choose which variation of that colorway. I'm taking the cowards way out and choosing .Poseidon - Corriedale wool roving - 100g, 32yds

    I got a little lost Ohhing and Ahhing over all the loveliness.
    My favourite was Babylon 3 - March Hare but I also loved Poison Apple 2 - Three Hares and Burlesque 3 - Jackalope.
    And then I spied the Botswana Agate stitch markers - sigh :0)
