Texas Alpaca Fiber Mixed Giveaway!

I'm so very excited about this blog post! When I was giving a workshop in at WCMercantile in Navasota Texas, I was introduced to Laurence of Blubonnet Hills Ranch. Laurence was one of the first 4 ranches to bring Alpacas to the state of Texas and now has a lovely herd of 85! While Bluebonnet Hills/ Texas Alpaca Fiber has been perfecting their fleeces since 1997, they're new to our Etsy world and I hope we can all show them support!

Of course, I snatched some of this gorgeous bay/black alpaca millspun while I was down there, and I intend to make a shawl (of course!) with it. Mmm so lofty and warm!

We're giving away this beautiful mixed alpaca roving- what a beautiful tweedy/marbled yarn this would make! Just visit Texas Alpaca Fiber (easy to remember, huh?) and find something you love, write about it here in the comments section and we'll be drawing for a winner in a couple of days. We'd so appreciate it, if you would also twitter/facebook/plurk/ravelate about Texas Alpaca Fiber as they are so brand new, it would really help out! We'll count those extra social network pings as entries for this giveaway!
