Silver Sun Alpacas Learn to Spin Kit

I am on an incredible high from this past weekend. So much spinning, laughter and good times!

I bet you're thinking you already know which one of the Silver Sun Alpacas listings I'm in love with- the green silkie collection. While, I do love that one, the "Royal" batt is just to die for!!

Ricky from Silver Sun Alpacas should be on your top 10 go-to list of fiber enablers! To prove just what kind of enabler she is, she's put together this wonderful drop spindle kit for a lucky commenter. Because, really, shouldn't you be building another skill set and learning to spin? All the cool kids are doing it ;)

Please visit Silver Sun Alpacas, find something you love, and write about it in the comment section below. We'll be drawing for a winner later in the week, please make sure you let all of your friends on Facebook, twitter, ravelry etc know about how much you love Silver Sun Alpacas- we'll count it as an extra entry!!

  30. Oh, wow! Everything just looks so luscious! It would be a lot of fun to just roll in those fibers, of course we might want to remove the spindles first, that might hurt. I wish I could spin, then I would have a bit more of a reason to spend money on such awesome fibers, like the shiny, silky looking milk protein top or the Bamboo top.
    Thanks for the chance,

You are correct in saying that she should be a 'go to' for anything fiberwise. (I have purchased from her before and will do more in the near future...wonderful person to work with!)

    So, fiber and spindle, eh?

I especially love the Wisteria - Bamboo Rayon, Handdyed, White and Black Carbonized, and I'm thinking I might have to join the Princess and the Frog spin-a-long, although I'm not sure how that'll work out, since I just had surgery on my foot. Might have to pick up one of the learn to spin kits, just in case I can't use my wheel, lol.
