Steampunk Sock Yarn Giveaway!



Fiber Charmer is a new contributor, and boy does Eve have a delicious shop! Sock yarn galore! Her Chris sock yarn base is a beautiful smooth, soft but durable yarn for the perfect pair of socks.

  5. How can I possibly resist anything named "Chris Sock Yarn?" Really like the colorway called "Butterfly Bush Variation". Sometimes accidents come out really well!

  6. All of the blues are very pretty, but I like the "Experimental Color" Chris yarn where the leftover bits of dye were used.

  10. How to choose? I really like Butterfly Bush and its variation, and the Bronze Age is lovely, as is the Steampunk. Great colorways!

  11. What a great collection of sock yarns....in my perfect fiber combo for socks imo.

    All are pretty. I like the steampunk with its bronzes and grays.

  64. I think I am torn between her olive worsted and Bronze Age Chris Sock Yarn. For a long time I have avoided yellow yarn, but lately I find my eye wandering toward it so long as it's not too brilliant.I really like the subtle shades she used in the bronze age dye.

  66. Besides the Steampunk yarn, I really like the UV Blues in the Experimental section - they do remind me of that glow of objects under UV light. Also, I love the explanation of the science behind the color in the notes!
