Desert Garden Jabenero Yarn Giveaway!


What lovely yarn we have to give away today! This "Jabenero" yarn from Desert Garden, is a blend of Domestic Wool, Mohair and Polyester and is hand painted by Jennifer.

If you haven't participated in a SAL (spin a long) before, Desert Garden is a great way to start out! She's got lots of really fun themed packages, and loads her shipments with fun farm fresh fiber.

    I really like the "Sugar & Spice" handpainted merino. I can think of several folks, knitters and knit-wear recipients alike, to whom this would appeal.

    All of the yarns are beautiful! and I love the names she has chosen for each one. Funny how a name draws you - loved the name "Mermaid Hair" - and then reading the description and feasting on the color confirmed that's the one. That's my favorite :-)

    I know my way around this shop and went straight to the Squishalicious Fibers section. The Blueberry Pie Filling looks delicious, and I'd love to have a Tumbleweed batt #2.

    "on the wings of a dove" hand dyed rambo fleece is GORGEOUS! I'm lucky enough to have played with some of this stuff and it is even more lovely in person!

    I am loving the Pink Poodle. Also, I seriously need the Pampering Package. Tumbleweed batts 7, 8, 9, and 11 need to find their way to me. The Troll Bogeys and the Monster Updo keep staring at me. I may have to act on the soon. I LOVE THIS SHOP!
