The Amber Room Fiber Giveaway!


One of the "gems" (excuse the pun!) of this month's box is this gorgeous interpretation of The Amber Room by Friends in Fiber! Click here for their inspiration photo. What a gorgeous room, and what a perfectly carded batt!!

You'll want to get yours early this month as there seems to be a lot of interest. Friends in Fiber also sent me a note regarding their upcoming anniversary sale:

On Saturday Feb 21st through Feb. 27th at midnight EST, we will be having a week long celebration of our first year in business. We will be offering 15% off shopwide by using the coupon "Anniversary" at Paypal checkout. No secret about it and you are free to use the information.

Also, we are getting close to 200 sales and since we love those numbers that end in zero, we will be giving to the person who makes that 200th purchase a specially blended batt or hand dyed roving based upon their feedback to us regarding their preferences.

    the Amber Room colourway being given away is divine. As is much in their shop. I think my current favourite is the BFL Combed in Earth Tones - Moss.

    Don't look at the Suri Alpaca batts. There's nothing to see ... just move on to other sections of the shop. Really. You don't want them, but I'll very generously volunteer to give them a good home.

    Ooooooh! I've been trying in vain to find fiber in just the right shade and the face pack for needle-felters is perfect! Just have to wait for payday! <3
    The lightning colourway on BFL/Silk also 'struck' me :)

    BFL Combed Top 4 Oz. Earth Tones -Search for Gold and BFL/Silk Combed Top 4 oz. Blue Moon are both wonderful, but since I am a blue freak, Blue Moon wins.

    I am a big fan of Friends in Fiber. I enjoy their fiber while I'm spinning it and also when it sits prettily on my shelf waiting its turn. My current favorite in their shop is the Snowy Day Batt.

    I really like this
    eggplant needle felt sampler
    I'd spin it though. I'm just learning to spin and I'm very slow so little amounts with harmonius colour changes are great for me. And these colours are just lovely!
