Hippie Penguin Batt Giveaway!

There are a few of our Phatties who are rallying support for the aftermath of the Quake-Tsunami that has devastated northern Japan. One of these amazing entrepreneurs is Hilary of Hippie Penguin. Hilary has two shops: http://www.hippiepenguin.etsy.com and http://www.hippiepenguin.artfire.com . From now through Wednesday March 16th, Hilary is donating 100% of her proceeds to relief efforts.

Having spent a weekend with Hilary in October, I can testify that she is as sweet in person as she appears online and this generous act came as no surprise to me.

Help your fiber habit, and Japan- shop Hippie Penguin today!

We're giving away this beautiful batt set created with supersoft merino and Easter Grass (OMG Cute!) Just visit HippiePenguin on either Etsy or Artfire, and let us know what your favorites are! We'll be drawing for a winner later in the week, please be sure and help get the word out about what an amazing Phattie Hilary is on Facebook and twitter! We'll count those as extra entries!

  9. How unbelievably kind of her. As a previous purchaser of Hippie Penguin I'm extremely happy to be a return customer because of this (and of course the awesome fiber I bought from her)

I love the Merino/Bamboo Batts OOAK Blueberry Chocolate. I also love that she offers custom batts just by picking and choosing what you want in it. I'm looking through the offer now to make my own batt.

  42. Oh my, so many gorgeous things! I want so many of them >.>

I love the Volcano BFL top. It has colours I enjoy spinning - yellows and blues - along with some nice rich purple/pinks and deep midnight blue.
I think my favourite thing about it though is that she let the white show through just a bit. It makes it feel like a nice blue sky with fluffy clouds being ravaged by flame and ash... all while not being depressing.

    Well done Hippie Penguin!
