I love bright colors, bold colors, sparklies and shine as much as the next fiber artist... but I also really love natural fibers. Fibers in the Buff so to speak. Northstar Alpacas has a shop chock full of au naturale alpaca!
There really is something about creating projects from undyed fibers straight from the farm. When combined in larger projects, they can be stunning, but even with small ones, there is an element of connectedness one feels with the animal that grew the fiber. Maple from Northstar Alpacas is careful to include which animal the fiber comes from with every purchase, so you will feel that connection when your fiber arrives.
Today we're giving away a stunning 4 oz of Rose Gray alpaca from "Rhodey" a blue ribbon champ! Please visit NorthStarAlpacas today, find something you love, and write about it in the comments section below. Check back for more giveaways this week!
