WCMercantile Opal Essence Batt Giveaway!

  6. Oh, heavens! I've bought so much from WCMercantile, I don't need to look to see what they have right now! I've never bought anything I didn't like from her, and I'll continue to keep her on my "favorite shops" list on Etsy! Everything is so easy to spin, even for a beginning spinner like myself.   11. I think my favorite is actually the give away batt! So simple, but so pretty. I also noticed some Ashford double drive bobbins. I've been thinking of increasing my supply to support my multiple project habit...

  13. I always purchase my tops in 1LB increments, and they have some really great choices in BFL and Merino. I'm definitely going to be putting in an order for some of their undyed fibers soon. Really great sellers. :D

  20. I actually spun up some of the Opal Bat and it's absolutely YUMMY. The Lovett batt looks so tempting. Even though we love bright colors, there is something alluring about subtle neutrals. I constantly haunt your Etsy site!

  22. That purple, yellow, and green handpainted Falkland top from Rosie Lane Farm is stunning; it looks like a bouquet of irises transformed into fibre form! I don't know whether it's a good thing I didn't look through the rest of WCM's offerings before I placed an order with them for Wensleydale yesterday or not.

I have three silk cacoons I got in Beijing and would love more. If I had to pick just one thing, today it would be the grape muscadine merino and tussah silk top.

  43. Well... I love this shop, she is a very helpful seller with lovely stuff. I do love the mystery batts, I bought 2 but they accidently put mohair in one so she sent another free of charge.
    So I highly recommend this shop

  53. Aaaaaahhh, they've got the adorable little Cricket loom! When I'm ready for my next expensive fiber obsession, weaving will probably be it. In the meantime, I'd love to spin with the silk caps they offer. (and the person who can help me dye them is gonna be in the next mystery box!)

  87. I love the merino top in "Foxy". I live in an area of the country that has lots of red foxes, so I get to hear them calling to each other in the evening and night. That colorway could make a neat "fake fox" stole or fox stuffed toy. I also pinned this on pinterest.
