Bitsy Knits Lace Yarn Giveaway!


You may recall a yarn I featured in the video- a really interesting nylon-wrapped wool laceweight from Bitsy Knits in "M. Zephyritis" colorway. I am so curious about this yarn! I know nylon gives wool strength, so I could do an intricate lace shawl and do an extreme blocking session and it would hold up to it? So cool! I happen to really love the colors here too.

Can I brag a little? I recently finished one of Bitsy's shawl kits and it turned out really beautifully! Check it out:

    Your shawl is just lovely! Beautiful work. I've never knit with wool crepe yarn before. I think it would be fun to try a new laceweight yarn. I visited Bitsy Knit's etsy shop and fell in love with the "Blue Morpho" lace weight yarn. It looks yummy and soft and I would make a huge EZ Pi shawl to wrap myself up in. ;-)

    The most beautiful thing in Bitsy's shop is the handpainted bfl/silk top in the phat fiber february colorway - precious gems. Yummy.

    There is so much which is squee-worthy in this store. Superwash Roving in "Goodnight My Dear" is lovely! That wool crepe yarn looks very unique...and in "my" colors...be nice to take that for a spin...wait...rather, knit...

    I love the "blue morpho" crepe lace. I love the sheen of the rayon and it looks almost like handspun. Of course I like the handspun sock too!

    Well, let's see, I really, really want SpinOlution QUEEN BEE Folding Spinning Wheel or SpinOlution Mach II Spinning Wheel. But, if it's a fiber you want, then it would have to be Kido Lame Sparkling Laceweight Kid Mohair - 50gm-460yds - Phatfiber Feb colorway Precious Gems. Love the sparkle!     The wool crepe Blue Morpho really caught my eye--it's a great color and a lovely base. I also love the Kido Lame Laceweight. I was fortunate enough to get a sample of it in my box, and really enjoyed working with it.
