Phoenix Yarn is formerly Jags Funky Fibers! Jags needed a new look and a new name after her hiatus earlier this year. I think the name suits her new shop beautifully! How appropriate that like a phoenix, she resurrects old sweaters into beautiful yarns!
I have been quite pleased with purchases made from Phoenix Yarn in the past- So pleased, that I have been "saving" this seafoam colored cashmere for quite some time! I have it earmarked for something from "knitted lace of Estonia" it's that wonderful!
We're giving away this fuchsia colored cashmere lace today! Just visit Phoenix Yarn, find something you love, and write about it in the comments section below! We'll be drawing for a winner later this week, so please take a moment and facebook and twitter about it for extra entries!
I love that the shop is sorted by color! Pumpkin King is now on my favorites :)

ReplyDeleteThats very pretty.
I love the bright, vibrant "Cherry - Sport - Silk/Nylon/Angora," although I wouldn't actually be able to purchase it since I'm allergic to angora.
ReplyDeleteI like the pansy linen/cotton lace. And with 4 skeins at 250yd/skein, there's enough for a nice summery wrap - for less than $30!
ReplyDeleteI have been checking out this shop for awhile! Right now, I really think Coal - Lace is the best. Subtle, sophisticated and luxurios!
ReplyDeleteI love the amethyst cotton fingering weight yarn. I have some other cotton yarns that I plan to make a sweater for my daughter out of - not enough of any one color so I figured I'd just do stripes or something. That yarn might just fit right in.
