Friends in Fiber Gradient Dyed roving giveaway!

I have a confession. I almost kept this roving for myself! A few weeks ago, I ordered a green version of this, and Jan and Peg being the sweet women they are, threw this one in the box for me to 'Do what I want with it". Now, the inner hoarder in me grabbed this lovely raspberry colored merino/silk, sat in the corner clutching it and hissed at anyone who walked by. But, I eventually came to realize, if everyone knew how great Friends in Fiber is, maybe I'd be able to get these gradients in every color!

We're giving away this 4 oz of merino/silk expertly dyed in a Fibonacci sequence from Friends in Fiber. To enter to win, simply visit Friends in Fiber, find something you love, and write about it in the comments section below. We'll draw for a winner later in the week, so you'll have time to let everyone on Facebook, twitter, plurk etc know about this awesome giveaway and gain extra entries by doing so!

  1. I already know it's the Lemon Meringue Pie Blended Spinning/Felting Batt. There was a sample in one of my Phat Fiber Boxes and it spun like butter.

    Always so difficult to only choose one thing...Today I'd say...the Tickled Pink batt would be my choice. But the gradient fibers are all very cool...and I love the lemon meringue pie.

  5. =O Too many choices!

    My first thought is the 4 ounces of BFL Earthtones, both Aquinnah and search for gold, but on second thought, maybe the superwash Merino in Moss...
    Man, I see my spending money being eaten already...

  14. Everytime Friends in Fiber do their General Shop Update on Rav, I have to hold myself back from ordering it all. But I have been drooling over the gradient dyed yarns, particularly in Green, my fave color.

    Although I did have reason to share a pic of their needlefelted Lemon Meringue Pie to a non fibery world, which I enjoyed greatly.

  24. So funny! I just happened upon the owner posting in a forum about NH S&W because she made a cute hat to wear there. Then I checked out her shop because she said that she had been giving away free samples while at NH S&W. I was sad that I missed the samples, but I guess this is a chance to get something back!
