Garilynn Spin to Knit One Thousand Cranes Kit Giveaway!

Garilynn has done it again! She's created an adorable knit pattern , and this time for a cause! Since the earthquake in Japan, many fiber artists have wanted to join efforts in some way to help. Gari is a member of the "1,000 cranes" group on Ravelry where the members are creating cranes to raise awareness and funds for the Tsunami/Earthquake victims.

We're very proud that our own Garilynn has created the knit pattern and is donating profits for the relief effort!

We're giving away two lovely spin to knit kits with WCMercantile fiber inside, to two lucky commenters! Please visit Garilynn's shop, find something you love, and write about it in the comments section below. We'll draw for a winner later in the week! Hurrah!

  10. Not actually in her shop, but on her Ravelry, I've been wanting that crane pattern since it came out.

In her shop however I love the idea of the Skein Snake. I've wanted to wash yarn so many times, and it just gets messy.
