Breezy Ridge Alpacas Baby Suri Fiber Giveaway!


I am very delighted to be featuring a brand new phattie today on the blog! Breezy Ridge Alpacas specializes in suri alpacas and suri fiber products. Suri alpaca fiber is quite fine, lustrous and silk-like. Several of you are experiencing Breezy Ridge Alpaca in your July boxes.

We're giving away this gorgeous Suri Alpaca from "Silver's" first shearing!! I featured Silver's fiber on the video this month- it is truly an amazing fiber- the color is almost a rose-gray which you just don't see in natural fibers all that much.

    I best liked the Suri Alpaca/Merino/Cormo named Cotton Candy. An interesting blend of fibers worth giving a spin.

    Suri Alpaca 1st Shearing, Baby Fine, Natural Silver would be my first pick. Looks so very soft and since I'm just starting to spin I'd love to give it a try.

    My fav is the paw print hat and the ruffle scarf...seeing the alpacas is neat - especially when you then see the batts you can get from their animals

    my fave from their store is Suri Alpaca/Merino 80/20 Handpainted, Fingering, color 124. I got a sample in one of my boxes that was raw suri alpaca that looked like it would feel icky- but it was the softest fiber EVER- and that was unprocessed at all- super excited to check these guys out when i'm in the money

    Probably my favorite spinning fibers are a alpaca/merino/bamboo blend. So my choice is Suri Alpaca, Merino, Bamboo in one of my favorite colors - Teal
