Knits in Class Forest Floor Sock Yarn Giveaway!
I get really excited when I see fibers and yarns with beautiful earthy colors in them. The leaves are turning all around, there is a subtle crispness in the air, and I'm prepping the house to settle in for winter. Knits in Class has sent in this beautiful "forest floor" half skein of sock yarn as a giveaway, and it is so beautiful! I'm thinking it would even be great to make "camo" socks for the outdoorsy people in your life.
We're giving away this beautiful 200 yard skein today. Please visit Knits in Class Fiber studio, find something you love, and write about it in the comments section below. We'll be drawing for a winner this weekend, so please take a moment and facebook/twitter/plurk/blog about this giveaway for extra entries!

I just "dyed" and went to yarn heaven! I love the vibrant colors and have my eye on the Merino single ply worsted in the orange color scheme. I can imagine mittens that are drying on the heater, making the house smell like winter, giving me a memory of playing in the snow when I was a child. Pardon me while I drool a bit...
ReplyDeleteThe Mars batts are so pretty, but I wouldn't turn down the Art Nouveau sock yarn either :)
ReplyDeleteI particularly like the Mister Darcy, Forest Floor, Art Nouveau, and Grape Crush colorways. The dye kits that include yarn with them are also awesome.

ReplyDeleteThey don't sell grape soda here, except in a select few stores to twice the price of normal soda, but when I lived in Tokyo for five months, I lived off of the stuff, so my favourite is definitely the Grape Crush yarn.
ReplyDelete(We do have something called grape soda, but it's grapefruit soda, which, while delicious, is not the same.)
I think this skein wants to come to my house to be a scarf... But it might need a friend. Maybe Art Nouveau!
