Hilltop Cloud "champagne" Wensleydale giveaway!



Oooh am I excited about this giveaway! Some gorgeous "champagne" Wensleydale from Hilltop Cloud!! This beautiful fiber was dyed naturally using herbs by the lovely Katie in Wales. I really love this color, it's hard to describe, but "champagne" is the closest I can come :)

Hilltop Cloud is a beautiful shop, and I think this is the first time I've featured it on the blog? Well, you're in for a treat! Lovely, beautiful, natural British sheep breeds available here for experimenting with! Katie is only a couple of sales shy of 500!! I'd love for us to make up the difference for her :)

  50. I love Katie's shop, I have bought repeatedly from her and the fiber is fantastic!! If I had to choose just one thing I guest it would be Felix Felicis Yellow Spinning Fibre, at this time of year it would be great to spin a reminder summer!!

  65. I love the color and luster of the Teeswater. It looks so soft and lush. As I'm a new spinner I didn't really know anything about this breed, but I just did some quick research and it appears that their fleece is as soft as the sheep are pretty!

    From the shop my favourite is the Dark Rainbow Roving (which I have been promising to buy myself in the new year). Black welsh mountain and silk in that gorgeous rainbow of colours.... yummy.
