I am finding it difficult to try to find the words to express how special I think this Light Brown Hare giveaway is. Firstly, it's sock yarn, and everyone needs it. Secondly, it's really really good yarn- LOVE, love this jackrabbit base. Thirdly, it's 6 freaking ounces!! SIX! Fourthly, look at the color- wow! Just. Wow. Crispin's Day is hands down my favorite - it's a really great brown, plus a literary reference! I also quite like rose red and dabbling teal.

On several occasions I have been totally unable to resist the Jackrabbit 6oz skeins. The base, the amount ... and then the colors that Light Brown Hare presents ... very tough on my will power!

When I start looking at the other yarns, I'm drawn to the kid mohair and merino lace yarn, especially the Babylon colorway.

ReplyDeleteOMG! What don't I love about Light Brown Hare's yarn. I love it all! My most favorite of the yarn types in her store is the March Hare worsted weight yarn line. The Sunbleached and Olive Grove are especially pretty.

ReplyDeleteMy two favourites from her shop are the Orsino 2 and Silver Birch on the Jackrabbit base. But what I like best are her Phat Fiber samples---I love the small samples of her other fiber bases that accompany her official sample. They give me a very good idea of what her bases are like!
