North Star Alpacas Yarn Giveaway!


Would you look at this beautiful hand dyed alpaca yarn from NorthStar Alpacas? It's got all those luxurious jewel tones and the base is an incredibly soft 70% Alpaca and 30% Merino for bounce.

This is mill spun yarn from Maple's own herd of Alpacas. You won't find this luxurious base anywhere else and it's really worth the scant $22 she's charging for a skein!

    There's a really pretty chartreuse alpaca fleece over in the shop and pictures keep popping into my mind involving this color and charcoal grey in some combination. Very interesting pictures ...

  12. It looks wonderful. I really love the Alpaca Merino Yarn - Worsted Weight in the yellow, orange, red colorway. The color reminds me of the "jane-hat" from the TV-show Firefly.

  22. I'm a sucker for natural-color alpaca fiber, especially when there are pictures of the adorable lil critter it came from! :) The Soft Fawn color is gorgeous, and the suri fiber blended in makes it really striking.

  23. Well, I just clicked over after having ordered a custom batt from North Star Alpacas to duplicate their lovely January Box sample, so that lets you know one thing I love from them. I'll add that I love the natural look of the swirled alpaca roving. Such a nice way to showcase the beauty of natural fleece!
