Dawning Dreams Spindle Giveaway!
I think spring is an excellent time to learn to spin! We have a lot of spinning events coming up this summer, it would be great to see everyone participate in!
Dawning Dreams is such a lovely place to visit online! And, Dawn herself, I consider to be a friend and I'm so glad to know her. She can sit down with endless patience and warp a loom, bend wires for shawl pins, card a batt, spin a yarn, etc. etc. I jokingly call her D.I.Y. Dawn ;)
We're giving away this beautiful hand made wooden drop spindle Dawn has created. This design looks so very much like gears and I love the idea of a wooden gear- anything, but drop spindle just puts it over the top! To enter this giveaway, please visit Dawning Dreams, find something you love, and write about it in the comments section below. We'll be drawing for a winner this weekend :)

"Fall into the deep"-colourway is just so magnetic. Wow! My eyes were immediatly drawn to it.
ReplyDeleteAlways lovely stuff in the shop - the gear spindles are up there on my wish list, all are nice, but I really love the 1.8 oz with the blue gemstone. Steampunk inspired art is always fun, and for me these spindles are a great design for use too - I have a lot of trouble with perfectly smooth whorls. Just ordered a few dozen different key and faux watch cases to make ornaments for next Christmas...which will include charms I purchased at Dawning Dreams last year.
ReplyDeleteI would love to learn how to spin! Especially when there are lovely colors like Bamboo Rayon Roving Top, Mulberry Wine to spin!
