Sunrise Fiber Co. Sparkle Lace giveaway!


Did you know it is Sunrise Fiber Co's 1 year anniversary?! Well, that happened on Friday, and I wish I had time to let you all know about here sale! Well, maybe I can convince you to head on over to Wren's shop anyway!

That skein in the picture up there- it's a most gorgeous and soft skein of Sunrise Fiber Co.'s Sparkle Lace-a yummy SW merino silk and stellina blend- it glistens ever so softly! This color is called "Chamomile" and it is sooo lovely!

    I want the Sparkle Lace in the Amethyst or Pale Cedar colorways, which would have to be a special order. I'd settle for the Sapphire if I have to pick from what's in stock.

    Apparently I have a weakness for Wren's yarn because I've got several colorways in my stash. I love the Chamomile featured here, which I was lucky enough to get in my March box. But today my vote goes to "Blossom" which I've also seen in person. It's even prettier and more delicate in person. It looks like an Easter basket of pastels. Perfect in Superwash DK or Worsted to make a dress for a little girl!

    When I saw this colorway it reminded me of a color that looked beautiful on my mother. I would like to knit something in it in her memory. It is the Hand dyed Superwash Merino Classic Sock yarn in Wild Strawberry colorway.

    I'm strongly drawn to sock yarn in the Caution colorway (even though there is a mismatch between the heading and the text regarding fiber content. Merino or BFL/bamboo?).

    I love all of those gorgeous colors, I've never had the chance to work with nice yarns, but I would love the chance to work with some of hers. I must say that the colors are gorgeous, and the variety of yarn fibers, weights, and colors definately makes me want to buy everything :)
