Funhouse Fibers BFL and Milk fibers giveaway!
Have you ever discovered a fiber shop online and get so excited you start clicking madly, and be fore you know it, have a shopping cart full of goodies? This is going to be your first and final warning: Funhouse Fibers is addictive. Seriously. Miki should put labels on her stuff- "colors may cause temporary lack of rational judgement".
I hope you'll treat yourself this Friday, and visit Funhouse Fibers to see what's going on over there. I think you'll agree with me, it's like therapy for the fiber artist soul :) I'm so excited we're giving away this heathery gradient BFL in "Life's a Boat" and the gorgeous milk fiber in "Lavender Fields" colorway!
To enter this giveaway, please visit Funhouse Fibers today, find something that you'd like to talk about, and write about it in the comments area below. When we draw for a winner, we'll count those facebook, pinterest, plurk, twitter updates as extra entries!

Pewter aran weight for me! What a gorgeous silvery sheen on that yarn....
ReplyDeleteOh, I already know what I love in her shop! There a braid called Colorplay that I have been trying to resist for a while.
ReplyDeleteMmm it's all lovely... I especially like the gradient colourways on Shetland fibre - that Moroccan Sunset is amazing.
ReplyDeleteThe Blue Lagoon Bamboo is lovely. So shiny!
ReplyDeleteGood Earth, English toffee (on lovely shiny bamboo, no less, so it really looks like toffe!), and Freshly-Mown Grass -- lovely!

ReplyDeleteGuilty pleasure looks amazing, I love all the different colors!
ReplyDeleteI love the good earth merino-silk. And the indian corn and.. and.. and.. My poor credit card.
ReplyDeleteI love that heathery base. I think their Blue Lagoon Bamboo top is amazing looking, and the sheen of the bamboo adds tot he impression of being in a lagoon, but I've never worked with straight bamboo before. Would that be more difficult since I'm so used to wool and the crimp and elasticity?
ReplyDeleteRainbow Brite - English Shetland is my fav! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI think Funhouse Fibers has to be one of my new favorite shops! Amazing colors! I love both the braids in the giveaway and the "Ombre green alpaca merino silk." I especially love them because green is a little out of my comfort zone, but their greens are so lovely that I know I wouldn't have any trouble making them into something lovely. I think the ombre green would make a truly stunning lace shawl!
ReplyDeleteLove the rainbow brite roving

ReplyDeleteI totally agree with the comments about the addictiveness of Miki's fibers. If I had enough money I would buy out her shop. She is a world-class enabler. Her monster sized batts are amazing and the hand dyed rovings are glorious. Today I am in awe of the Moroccan Sunset!
