Wandering Wool sock yarn giveaway!



We have several Phatties that were in line of Hurricane Sandy the past couple of days. Everyone at PFHQ is hoping things are fine, and all is well with them. One such contributor, is Joelle, of Wandering Wool. She's based out of D.C. and I have yet to hear from her, but her shop is open, and it's so lovely!

Ahh, nothing like entering an etsy shop that has been freshly stocked! Wandering Wool is a veritable kaleidoscope of hand dyed yarns! What a treat for the eyes!

    Wow...she has some beautiful stuff! My two favorites are the Superwash Merino Wool Worsted in Royalty, and the MCN sock in Mermaid's Lagoon.

    Just so you know, names do make a difference! I love all things gray so can't help but comment on Graymatter and Stardust. Both beautiful colorways. Was notifiied by amchart so she should get bonus points!

    I love so many yarns in her shop, I always have a hard time picking my favorite. Today I would love to make a nice textured hat from the Hand Dyed Yarn - Superwash Merino Wool Worsted Weight in Cranberry Bog Colorway. I think it would be perfect for the holiday season!

    It is fall, and browns have started looking lovely to me. The Pine Bark sock yarn would make a lovely pair of Honey Badger socks (if I didn't already have a skein of golden brown lined up for my second pair!).

    I think the mini skeins are my favorite, especially the slightly darker set... although the Emerald Isle colorway is beautiful - love the greens! - and it's named after one of my favorite places!
