Shades of Light Sock Yarn Giveaway!






If you have ever been to the Shades of Light etsy shop, I think you will agree, it feels just like going on a trip to a magical and exotic yarn island where all the beautiful colors live! If you have experienced Shades of Light yarn, you understand it's not just the color, but the quality of the yarn!

We're giving away this gorgeous deep dark purpley aqua navy skein of fingering weight yarn today!     I love all of the selfstriping yarns. I only wish these came in larger quantities (350-400 yards) since I'd love to make a shawl without any color repeats!

    The woven scarves are gorgeous. I'm also liking the mini-skein collections (especially the choose-your-own ten pack) and the multi colored yarns like the MCN sock yarn in color 18 (bright red, yellow, and a bit of pink).

    Angelika has such an amazing way with color. I just love her clear, glowing colors! I'd be in such danger if she ever started dyeing spinning fiber.

    Right now "handdyed yarn - wool/silk mixture 50/50 - sports weight -colour 198" is grabbing me. The color is gorgeous and the silk really gives it an amazing sheen.

    Oh, I love this yarn! I also love the mini-skein sets, especially since I've been doing lots of fair isle knitting recently and would love a set of yarn in several colors. The pick-your-own 10 mini skeins is a great idea!
