Violet Linx's Yarns and Fibers Aurora Fiber Giveaway!

Violet Linx's Yarns and Fibers made a real splash in the December box with this gorgeous Aurora Borealis fiber! It's gorgeous jeweled tones ona black alpaca/silk base. So lovely!

I see there are similar braids in the Etsy shop this morning! It's so cold here in Phatfiberland, I can think of no better way to spend the day, than curled up with a blanket and spinning, or online fiber shopping! Violet Linx is a great place to do that!

To enter to win this braid, please visit Violet Linx Yarn and Fiber today, find something you love, and write about it in the comment section below. Be sure and spread the word via other social networks for extra entries!

  30. It's funny, I'm not usually fond of mixing black with bright rainbow colors, but in my mind's eye I can see how those Black Jewels fibers will blend into a breathtaking dark shimmer of color. My favorite is the Black Opal "Sea Princess" colorway, on baby alpaca and silk! I can see it spun up into a deep, mysterious and subtle ocean, with the halo of the alpaca forming a dark mist over the bright waters…

Okay, now I'm getting too poetic.

  48. There are several very pretty choices, but I really love the baby camel and tussah silk braid of fiber in the color way OOAK, I love the blues and how she left the original color of the top showing too! I also really loved some of the gradients, but the colors in the OOAK really caught my eye. I was a little surprised that the seller is in Russia, but I really like the types of fiber she sells. A lot of them I can't buy from my current favorite dyers, so that's a big plus. I also really loved what she did with some of the fiber! She has a good eye!
