Mama Jude's Plant Dyed Yarn giveaway!






We could all use a little rainbow in our lives :) Mama Jude's Plant Dyed stuff has some of the prettiest rainbows in all the land! And- they're plant dyed! That just amazes me! I've never tried to dye using mordants and plants and it all seems to be more art and less science to me.

The shop just got back from vacation mode, but I know there will be more items listed with in the next few weeks. It's a good time to add Mama Jude's to your shop favorites list and check back regularly!

    Looking through the "previous sales" photos, I love the earthy mix batt and the spring at the lake shawl skein.

    I love the deep rich green shade of Lincoln Green--4 Ounce Worsted Skein--Wool Mohair Blend yarn that is currently on Judy's site, but I have to say that I love her Ocean Frenzy batt that I already spun up and her Wee Little Grass Path batt that I will either spin or turn into a needle felted fairy.

    Love this rainbow skein! Truly inspiring. I can't wait to learn how to dye yarn too. The Cheerful Rainbow Yarn is my favorite item in the shop but I also love the hand sewn Dragon Friend :)

    I love Mama Judes plant dyed fibers. I purchased the voilet dyed locks and have them out to gush over. I will be spinning them, just need to decide how I go about that.

    I love the purple, but the Summer Bulky Rainbow was my favorite yarn! I love the colors- I had no idea you could get them so bright with plant dyes! I also had a melty heart moment at the Waldorf dolls... My son want to Waldorf school for Kindergarten, I did Waldorf homeschooling for 1st grade, and I sew the dolls too. :)
