Quaere Fibre Sock Yarn Giveaway!




Last weekend we celebrated my son's birthday by visiting the City Museum in St. Louis, MO. If you've been there, you know they have all kinds of cool things to climb on, and even a 10 story slide! Long story short, I fell and injured my tailbone. Thankfully, I have been able to spend most of this week recovering on cushions with some knitting. It's incidents like this that make me think that hording yarn is a good idea! I can't think of a better way to recuperate from almost anything than to get clicking with some yummy yarn. It's no secret that Quaere Fibre is a most excellent place to stock up!

This moody colored yarn is called "Belaying" and it's aproximately 490 yards of SW Merino squishyness!     The Hand Dyed Merino Roving 4 oz Graffiti is by far my favorite, though I faved and pinned many others as well. Too bad I'm on a fiber diet until November!

    The Hand Dyed Fingering/Sock Sparkle Yarn, Superwash Merino/Nylon/Stellina, Iris is really appealing, even if I'm not usually a yellow person-- maybe it's oncoming autumn making me want to cling to something summery. Tough choice though! (and to be honest I like the giveaway color a bit more, hah!)

    I love the colorway twilight, deep and rich, but light enough to still show off fancy stitching well.
