Northstar Alpacas alpaca/cormo yarn giveaway!





Here at Phat Fiber HQ the leaves are really starting to turn and it's time to sort out the Fall/winter wardobe. It's also time to get cozy with some luscious yarn! I would like to recommend some natural Farm-Fresh alpaca yarn from Northstar Alpacas!

  8. What's not to love about Maple's shop? I've learned a bunch from Maple when it comes to spinning and dyeing alpaca fiber. Love her shop!

  9. Wow! What a neat shop! I love the Alpaca and Angora Bunny Luxury Roving for Spinning and Felting - 2 ounces and the cute little baby hat, although I don't much like orange or yellow. :)

    Also, While I'm here, can I just say that our house loves the alpaca insoles? My Husband swears by them.

  59. Ooooooo! Black handspun, Charcoal handspun and fresh white to try a plaid scarf! The handspun texture would soften the lines of the plaid. And the black grey and white tones would only compliment my other colored handknits.
    Alpaca is THE luxury and sensible fiber in the 49th state. Durable, easy care
    , no pill, different weights. And most importantly-warm!! Quivuit? No body to it-too pricey and special handling required.
    What a great way to try a new yarn company or fiber-giveaway!
