Edgewood Garden Studios - BFL Roving 4 oz - Anshar - Sumarian God of the Sky



















Welcome to our third giveaway of this batch of amazing work from our November contributors.  If you haven't entered the previous two giveaways, go to the first giveaway for a chance at some fingering weight yarn from With Pointed Sticks, and our second giveaway for a chance to win handspun yarn from Willow Fairy Wool.














 For this third giveaway, we're going to make a handspinner or felter very happy!  This beautiful squishy roving from Edgewood Garden Studio looks like it will spin up very nicely. Ilga handpainted this roving in the colorway "Anshar - Sumarian God of the Sky" with stormy greys, bright blue, and other soft blues that lean toward violet at times. The fibers are not compacted or felted at all. It's soft and shiny. We're giving this braid to one lucky random winner. I will draw all winners on December 20th at 6pm.

    So many wonderful colors, but I finally chose based on a name as well as color -
    SILK / BFL WOOL ROVING - CANINE BUDDY - 4.1 OUNCES. Living in a no-pets apartment now, and just recently I've really be missing my old "canine buddies".

    I'm most excited about the Targhee Wool Roving in Troutbeck Park Farm 1 - targhee is one of my favorite fibers to spin, and it's shockingly hard to find in handpaint colors.

    Want some, got some... Awesome colours and blends. Fell deeply in love with Christmas cactus - exactly the shades if mine that are blooming madly at the moment. Also a Curious Rabbit slipped I to the shopping basket when I wasn't looking ;-)

    On the shop site, I love BFL WOOL ROVING - TUNNEL OF LILACS 2 - 4.0 OUNCES. On the etsy site, I like so many things! The yarn there is wonderful and I like Handspun yarn - Blue Hand dyed Romney cross wool - OCEAN DEPTHS - Fine Sport weight, 490 yards.
