The Homestead Hobbyist, Let's start with our newest contributor!
We are still using Giveaway Tools to help us manage the giveaways. The plus is that the tool keeps track of all of your entries and then pulls a winner for me at the end. If there's something better out there, I'd love help finding it. I will be creating a little giveaway tutorial a little later in the month. Perhaps that will help us work out the kinks.
Okay, this first giveaway is so beautiful from The Homestead Hobbyist. I'd love to keep this yummy yarn to myself! Here's a link to the product on his site: Crime Scene Collection, Bloodstain.
Here's a little description from the The Homestead Hobbyist:
This yarn is small-batch spun at a mill near Seattle from small-batch, custom-designed blends of fiber.
This skein is 460 yards of fingering-weight 3-ply yarn in the Bloodstain colorway from my Crime Scene Collection of Savage Blends.
The Crime Scene Collection contains:
Superfine 18.5 Micron Merino 37.5% Shetland 37.5% Mulberry Silk 25%
This skein is a gory blend of fresh blood-reds with a bit of texture and a smooth, fluffy finish.
The color is gorgeous and rich. The fibers are so soft. You'll love this yarn!
How do I win?! FIRST sign in on the giveaway widget above. You'll be given several options to gain entries to the giveaway.
The first, and only mandatory entry, is that you will go to The Homestead Hobbyist find something you love then come back here and comment about it.
You can gain an additional entry for each of the following: tweeting about the giveaway and pinning a photo of the yarn on Pinterest.
You will earn three additional entries for making a purchase in the The Homestead Hobbyist Store and sharing the order number.
Thank you for supporting our independent artists. They are the only reason we have Phat Fiber to obsess over! Be sure to respond if I send you an email letting you know that you've won!

ReplyDeleteI love the bloodstain fingering weight yarn you're giving away. Mind, she isn't showing any other colors of that yarn at the moment, or I might pick another color. Or I might not, that's a nice deep red for the coming holiday season.
ReplyDeleteI'm not entering to win this skein (it would be like cheating, since I already have more than I have time to knit with!), but I wanted to let some folks know--I'll have "Suit Up, It's A Mess In There," "Murder Weapon," and "Eye Witness" in fingering and DK up in the shop in March!
ReplyDeleteThe mill just received the fiber today, and I'll have the yarn in late January. I'll be debuting the new colors at Madrona Fiber Arts Winter Retreat and Stitches West in February, and I'll put them up in the shop shortly after. I'm still working on figuring out which will be the next colors I turn into yarn in 2017 (I'm designing a few more neutral colors to expand the Crime Scene Collection of spinning fiber as well, so those might be my next choices for yarn).
