Desired Haven Farm Giveaway!



Misty from Desired Haven Farm, created a really luscious cotton/angora/bamboo blend batt for July's box. We're giving away 3 batts from way back in July!
I thought Misty did a fantastic job with the no-wool theme and I was very curious to see what other people did with her generous samples!

Misty is busily preparing for some upcoming fiber festivals and is taking her stock with her. Now would be the time to snag some of her beautiful handspun, or ask her to create something special for you. I think Michigan's Lamb and Wool Festival is her next event, so please stop by and visit her booth!

To enter the batt giveaway, just visit Misty's shop, find something you like, and post about it in the comments section below! We'll be drawing for a winner on Saturday, so make sure you get extra entries by plurking, tweeting and facebooking about Misty's shop!

    Definitely the Dragon Scales... I love those shades of green! So pretty! AND the angora, which I have never spun, would be so fun to play with!

    I quite like the Waste Not Want Not roving and both the Lavender and Deep Lavender alpaca blends. Lovely colors.

    I like the picture of the bunny. It is nice to see where the fiber comes from. I think Kalidascope is really nice. I like the blend of colors

    I had to pick the Derby Phatfiber Sample batt as my favorite! I love love love the colors! I also grew up going to the county fair and remember going to the derby! I may be a girl but I still love watching the derby!

    the raspberry twilight looks lovely! i wish i could see the colors better from the pic, but i know how difficult it can be to photograph fiber.

    I didn't find out about Phat Fiber until this month, so is it okay if I say that I absolutely adore her sample for August, the Derby one? Soooo pretty. I love red!

    Oooh, the choices! Well, I've already hearted Desired Haven -- as for what I like best, I'm wavering between the deep lavendar Alpaca and the Beau's Bows roving. They both look amazing and lovely to spin!

    I love the raw angora and the Tranquil Seas roving. I think the Waste Not Want Not roving would spin into lovely yarn too!
