Diana from Fiber Fancy did an outstanding job on her samples for December! These amazingly soft, sparkly, silky samples were based on a "glowing stellar nursery" and she captured the cosmic feel of the hubble photograph perfectly.
Diana has been busy since the holidays updating Fiber Fancy just about daily! You must must try one of her batts- I don't know if it is the carder she has, the way she cards them or what, but they are truly amazing and smooth!
Today we're giving away 2 of her delicious glowing stellar nursery batts! Just visit Fiber Fancy, find something you love, and post about it in the comments section below. We'll be drawing for a winner on Friday (pssst! the same day our fall competition voting closes!) and a sure way to get extra entries is to use twitter, facebook, ravelry or your blog and let everyone (including us!) know about Fiber Fancy.
Diana, I am in awe of your artistry for December, and cannot wait to see what you come up with next!
I'm usually a dark- or saturated-colour kind of girl, but I'm really drawn to Beach Umbrella and Ribbon Candy. And I'd love to spin up some of the Semi-Solid Almost Sage to a fingering weight and knit a camisole with it.
ReplyDeleteRTed, too! @owldaughter
I love everything in her shop, but am currently dying to have the Party Lights roving.
ReplyDeleteI am tempted to get this one... Hand Dyed, Carded 4 Ounce Textured Fiber Batt Set in Turning Times, Merino, Romney and More
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the Midnight Roving. I love how dark it is. However, I have been spinning a lot of dark colored wool and have been trying to lighten things up a bit. So, I have to pick two. The second one is Northern Lights Falkland Roving.
ReplyDeleteI was lucky to be Diana's secret santa recipient, so I received and have fallen in love with the merino top. I am torn between Conversation Hearts and For the Girls. All the colorways are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAny of the pastel Mulberry Silk Combed Top listings! If I have to choose one, you have to give me a few minutes to write the names on little pieces of paper, put on a blindfold and pick one at random.
ReplyDeleteI love Diana's fiber :-) and her Yearling Mohair Combed Top in Stormy Skies is in my Etsy favorites
