You know something? I really love purple. It's probably in my top 3 favorite colors. Growing up, my father hated purple. How someone could hate a color, is a bit beyond me, but he loathed the color purple. I never wore any purple clothes, or had purple bedsheets or anything and I think I'm making up for lost time because it seems like if I'm not buying green yarn, it's purple! Of course, I think this "Brewing up a Storm" sock yarn from Susses Spindehjrne would fit right snuggly in with my purple yarn collection ;)
If purple isn't your thing, there are lots of other offerings at the Susses Spindehjrne shop! From luxury spinning fiber blends to handspun, do hand painted yarns and even finished items and fiber tools! There is a rather nice Christmas sale going on in her shop right now as well!
If you'd like to be entered to win this sock yarn, please visit Susses Spindehjrne on Etsy today! Find something that you love, and write about it in the comment section below. Link to this on your favorite social networking platform and we will count that as an extra entry!

I am so excited to be featuring this yarn today. It's a week before Thanksgiving and Marcus and I have a special cider to bring to the meal we'll share with our family this year. The name of this particular yarn from Wandering Wool is "mulled cider" which is one of my favorite things to enjoy this time of year.
Check out those new color-changing yarns in the Wandering Wool etsy shop! Those would make for some interesting fair isle work! Of course there are so many more yarns to choose from, it's hard to decide which I like best!
I'm going to ask you to make a decision about which one you like best, and write about it in the comment section below. You'll be entered to win this lovely Mulled Cider Rock Creek Sock Yarn. We had a major cold snap blow through our area last night. Nearly all the leaves of my pretty sugar maple in the yard have fallen, and the reality of winter is settling in. This Luthvarian Fiber Arts batt is named "Paint the Streets" and I feel like it's talking about my street today!
Cold snaps are also perfect for spinning next to a roaring (in my case electric) fire. It's especially nice when you have a luxurious batt to spin! I'm really loving the Luthvarian Fiber Arts luxury batts! Check them out!
To enter to win this giveaway, please visit the Luthvarian Fiber Arts etsy shop, find something you love, and write about it in the comment section below. For extra entries, please share on your favorite social network and let us know you've done that.

Trick or Treating is over, and now the push to complete my handmade holiday gifts is really underway! I feel really lucky that at least some of my family very much appreciates handmade gifts and it's such a joy to craft and meditate on how much I love someone while creating something beautiful.
Intrepid Otter sent in this beautiful Merino/Bamboo/Nylon fiber called Elosha (you will remember her character from the new Battlestar Gallactica!) and it's so lovely, and soft! This would be a dream spin for a small project like a hat, mittens, or small shawl.
To enter to win this beautiful braid, please visit Intrepid Otter today, find something you love, and write about it in the comment section below. Extra entries awarded for sharing this on your favorite social network!
