I used to say "happiness is hand knit socks on a cold day". I think I will amend it to "happiness is handknit anything made from Out of Step Dyework's MCN DK yarn especially in the Nanobot colorway" (pictured above!). This stuff is a dreamy blend of superwash merino and cashmere! And doesn't everything you want to knit require DK weight yarn?
I am lately developing and unhealthy obsession with the colors gray and purple. Looking at Out of Step Dyeworks' etsy shop this morning is not helping abate it! I love all of Amy's work, but I'm really yarn crushing on her October Phat Fiber box submissions!

I love sock yarn in DK weight! "12 Bar Blues" would make great 'guy' socks.
These yarns look delightfully sproingy! I really like both 12 Bar Blues and Nanobot. The Glimpses Of yarns are really interesting, but I don't know if they would knit up awesome or awkward.
Love the DK Glimpses of celephais. I love the teal and purple peaking out from the black.
The Zombie Apocalypse is fantastic! And EVERYTHING I have lined up to knit is in DK, so this would be perfect!!!

I am a fan of any yarn that reminds me of a dark but beautiful thunderstorm, therefore, my favorite is the Hand Dyed BFL Sock Yarn- Dusky Purple, and though I do not knit, I added the Vertebral Socks Kit- Zombie Apocalypse Yarn and Knitting Pattern in a treasury a few months back, and it was the first item to be sold from that treasury. I just loved the colors as well as the zombie theme :) !
