Wool Gatherings Sparkle merino giveaway!

Sigh. Isn't it gorgeous? It's WoolGatherings Sparkle Merino. It's so beautifully dyed, and that nylon just gives it a shimmer that lets you know it's something special! I love the fiber sample package and pretty much anything in the alpaca folder. But I was very drawn to this one (http://www.etsy.com/listing/97905733/fine-alpaca-roving-handpainted-fiber-for) since it is so radiant and reflects my wedding colours so closely...just makes me smile :)

Kate is a dyeing genious! All her colours are awesome, but one of the things I love is that she always have some new and interesting fiber that I haven't tried before. Masham, Welsh, Cormo.. I'll have 'em all -. cause all the colours are stunning.

I love her choice of color combinations. The yarn itself looks gorgeous, but the hand dying makes it that much better. My favorite is the mix of salmon pink, red, raspberry, plum, and gray. Her shop is actually very close to my home so I can't wait to stop in and see everything she has!

I bought stuff from this store only the other day and am being patient waiting for it to arrive (BFL in blues and golds)... I love the fact they sell Manx Loaghtan - as our heritage is in the Isle of Man. But I also love all the coloured fibers!!! So many good combinations!!!

Wow, I think this is one of my new top favorite shops! The colors are gorgeous, and I love how the tops are photographed in many ways so you get an accurate idea of what the colors look like. I would have fun spinning so many of these, but I'll pick the "Fine Alpaca Roving" in Dye Lot: #ALT04181204 as my favorite... for now.

Do I have to pick just one?? I have dozens of Woolgatherings rovings on my Etsy wish list, she's one of my favourite dyers. One of my latest favourites is the mixed BFL in teal, purple and cranberry that was added to the shop yesterday. But the sparkle Merino in orange, pink, purple and blue looks just so yummy too. So hard to choose just one thing, with so many lovelies. All of the hand painted fibers are gorgeous, but I really love the silver alpaca/tussah silk roving. It reminds me of moonlight, or quicksilver. Very magical.
