Hilltop Cloud's Arabian Nights batts are these gorgeous, textural buns of silk noil and firestar carded with manx loaghtan wool. As with everything Katie does, these are so beautiful and feel really really special. It should definitely be spun with much enthusiasm and enjoyment!
I feel a tiny bit guilty (not really! LOL) about looking over the Hilltop Cloud shop and making a personal purchase before featuring her today. I bought her British Breed Sampler (yum!) because I'm in a bit of a rut and need smaller, interesting things to spin.

I love all the Hilltop Cloud fibre I've tried (which is quite a lot!) and right now the Brown BFL,Shetland, Soysilk, Ramie handcarded batts are very tempting...

I'm going to be like everyone else and say that I would also really like the British Breed sampler. I love the varying shades of grey.

The British BFL (Blue Faced Leicester) blended with Baby Alpaca and Sea Cell looks so delicious. I would love to have some of that to work with.

I like the hand blended roving, Shetland, Merino, Silk, in Teal, 100g Linett 1177. I like how the dark teal reallys pop off the gray.
I love all of Hilltop Clouds stuff. Her hackle blended roving is a dream to spin! At the moment I'm coveting her cashmere/shetland/merino blend in the "Meera" colourway. SO PRETTY!
Some of the most beautiful fiber but I think I liked the tees water green silk fiber.
I *love* her shop! I could go broke if I spent too long in there. I love the autumnal tones of "Mellow Fruitfulness".
Such pretty batts! But the closing darkness roving has won me over the most.
OMG, I've has the Babydoll Southdown fiber in my faves for a while...I really need to get some of that. The Teeswater locks are soooo amazing, thinking they'd make an awesome tailspun yarn.

The British Breed sample collection sounds fun, because I love trying out different breeds and I also love small amounts.
My favourites are a tie. Cloudy Rainbow and Tropical Ocean. The dyed locks are lovely, too.
I really need to hurry up and buy a British Breed Sampler, too. I've favorited it on Etsy, too, to remind myself in case I forget, but I just haven't done it yet. Soon!

I have to have the Arabian Nights collection. I lived in Turkey for two years and miss it immensely. These colors remind of the vibrant colors of the spice markets, the colors of ancient mosaics, some found in the middle of a farmer's field, and of the gorgeous sunsets starting with reds, pinks and oranges, and ending with shades of blue, dark and alluring with the shimmer of stars.
Love the 'Linett' roving and the 'Idoya' batts and everything really!
